As per the March 15th Memorandum from the New York State Court System, the Old Westbury Village Court is closed to the public until further notice. Please read the following for help on your issue:
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL COURT APPEARANCES ARE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Please check our website the morning of your appearance to check if we are open.
For payments due: please send in a money order, post marked by the due date. Or visit our website at www.vowny.org/court and email a credit card authorization form by the due date (please note service fees apply on all card payments).
For a missed court date: if the Court is still closed on your scheduled court date, please note that we will reschedule your date as soon as we are back in the office. If you need to adjourn an upcoming date, please email us your request if you have not done so already. Someone will respond to your request when we are back in the office.
For all other questions: There is very limited staff in the office right now. We will respond to your email or voicemail when we can. Please understand that response times may be slow, but someone will address your concerns when we possible.

The Old Westbury Justice Court is part of the Unified Court System of the State of New York. The Village Court is responsible for handling judicial proceedings concerning Vehicle and Traffic violations that occur within the Village, along with violations of Local Village Laws.
